During today's Thursday Coffee Talk, a weekly ritual at the brokerage promoting togetherness - our team showed their unwavering solidarity in advocating for annual screening for breast cancer by wearing pink. Touched by the personal account Katie Couric shared last week (HERE) we discussed ways that we could impact research and awareness on a local and broader level. Organizations the team felt strongly about supporting included, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Pink Aid, and Pink Pledge to Benefit Norma Pfriem Breast Center.
To further their support of the agents, The Riverside Realty Group owners made a generous donation to Pink Pledge to Benefit Norma Pfriem Breast Center in honor of every agent who came to the office today wearing pink in memory of or in support of those who have been touched by this disease.
United in a sea of pink!! Onward and upward we go...let's beat this disease and work to continue funding research labs.
