Westport Housing Statistics- October 2009

During the month of October, Westport continued to see a significant improvement in the number of transactions across the board. From Single Family homes to Condos and even land acquisitions (yes builders are starting to return to the market!) - the number of properties closed, under contract, and those with accepted offers all saw dramatic improvements. In some instances, there was an over 100% gain over the prior month. In addition, the average sales price rose significantly over the past month as there were some important properties passing title.
