February Real Estate Statistics for Westport CT

The Spring Real Estate market in Westport is off to a very strong start and appears to show signs of stabilization and in fact, significant improvement. In fact, sales of Single Family homes showed an increase of almost 50% over the previous month. Additionally, there were 17 residences going under contract for the month of February versus 2 in the previous month. 23 homes and 1 condo had offers accepted in the month of February. Even more interesting is the fact that homes that were listed for sale last year and were unable to find buyers are now selling in today's marketplace. All in all - there appears to be renewed enthusiasm and optimism permeating the market.
