Fairfield CT Real Estate Statistics-February

Once again in the month of February, the Fairfield Real Estate market continued to shows signs of a strong start to the "Spring" market. Although the number of Closed transactions saw a decline (30 versus 39 for the previous month), those going into contract and those with accepted offers all increased significantly over the previous month. For example, 27 homes went under contract in February versus 5 for the previous month. 51 Homes, Condos and Land Sales had accepted offers during the course of the month. Our outlook remains cautiously positive for an improved 2010 housing market and strong selling season.
